Terms of service

These pages describe the implementation and proposed terms; they are not a completed compliance assessment or an effective new contract.
Contract and eligibility
These terms describe access to the Octonode software and sites operated by Niv Doron, an individual based in Israel. They apply to the service; Dodo Payments’ buyer terms separately govern purchases made through Dodo as merchant of record. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter the agreement, or authorized to act for the organization using the service. The privacy notice explains data handling and is not consent to optional marketing. A storage choice is not acceptance of these terms.
Accounts and authority
Provide accurate account details, protect credentials, and only act for an organization or workspace when authorized. You are responsible for choosing permissions and reviewing actions taken by people, agents, integrations and workflows you authorize. Report suspected unauthorized access privately through Contact & requests.
Content and intellectual property
You retain your rights in content you provide. The service permission is limited to hosting, processing, transmitting and displaying that content as needed to provide the features and sharing choices you request. Publish only material you have rights to share. Public workflow templates, third-party plugins and repository code may carry separate licenses; check those before reuse. The repository’s open-source license does not by itself grant a hosted-service subscription or rights in other users’ content.
Safe use and third parties
Follow the Acceptable use notice. Workflows and installed plugins can execute code and call external services; review permissions, inputs and outputs before use. External providers have their own terms. AI-generated output can be incorrect and is not professional advice; verify it before relying on it or taking consequential action.
Paid plans
Prices, currency, billing interval, taxes, seat counts, included usage, overage rates and renewal terms must be displayed before payment. See Billing & refunds. A checkout return page does not prove payment or activate entitlement; the service verifies provider state.
Availability and ending access
Features can change, and availability depends on the selected plan and any separate service-level agreement. Access may need to be restricted to address abuse, security threats, nonpayment or legal obligations, subject to applicable notice and consumer requirements. Cancellation, data export, retention and deletion must be handled separately; cancelling billing does not necessarily delete stored content.
Warranty, liability and disputes
Except for express commitments in your order or a separate written agreement, and only to the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation or error-free results. For business users, to the extent legally permitted, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, and aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the fees paid for that service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply to fraud, deliberate misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be limited. You remain entitled to mandatory consumer protections. These limitations concern the Octonode operator and do not amend Dodo’s separate obligations.
Governing law
Israeli law governs the service terms, subject to any mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction rights that apply where you live. Dodo Payments’ buyer terms separately govern your purchase from Dodo.
